Do you think the benefits of the new deposit protection laws compensate for the rise in rent the tenants will have to face?

Tough one this, how long do you want the reply. The DPS was meant to stop the bad landlords out there who were not returning deposits. In the long run Landlords will have to pass on the costs of running with the scheme or look for ways of skirting around the rules by not taking bonds.
